Believe / Don’t Believe

“Believe / Don’t Believe” is a collection of short stories where magical thinking intertwines with everyday life, revealing another side of reality. The world no longer feels solid or intelligible: there is no foothold in romantic love, career, or moving abroad. We cannot see or feel the future; the present is precarious and persistently absurd. Searching for meaning, the collection’s protagonists delve into childhood memories and family lore, encounter the uncanny, seek answers in rituals, and brush against magic. Every event — in domestic life, work, and personal relationships — forces them to make a choice and embrace the inexplicable.
