Journey to Eleusis

Victor Pelevin’s novel, published in 2023, continues the author’s tradition of exploring contemporary reality through the prism of philosophical concepts and mystical allusions. The title refers to the ancient Greek Eleusinian Mysteries — secret religious rites dedicated to the goddesses Demeter and Persephone. In his signature style, Pelevin weaves modernity together with mythological motifs, creating a multilayered narrative about the search for truth in a world of illusions.
