Evenings on a Farm Near Dikanka. Mirgorod

A collection of novellas by Nikolai Vasilievich Gogol, consisting of two cycles: “Evenings on a Farm Near Dikanka” and “Mirgorod.” In the first cycle, the author depicts the life of a Ukrainian village with vivid imagery and humor, weaving reality together with folklore motifs, popular beliefs, and mystical elements. The second cycle — “Mirgorod” — continues the Ukrainian theme, but with a deeper philosophical reflection on the life and everyday reality of Little Russian society.
